Second To None currently provide a service to those individuals supported through:

St. Helens Social Services

Pilkington Family Trust

Individuals in receipt of Direct Payment (including Individual Budgets and Independent Living Fund etc)

Private Funded.

Direct Payment

A majority of our service users are in receipt of direct payment.  As a result of this, we are able to manage our services in a flexible way that we believe meets the needs of our service users.

Most people eligible for health and social care services can apply for direct payment via their local council.  Direct payment would enable you to have greater control, independence, choice and to have a say in who provides the services that you require.

Services provided include:

*Personal Care (such as support with washing and dressing etc)

*Assistance with medication

*Preparing and assisting with food and drink

*Accompanied visits to G.P, hospital etc.

*‘Sit in’ service

*Overnight service

*Domestic service

*Cover for Personal assistants to cover for times of sickness and holidays (short or long term)
